Venice 2024 #2 - Narrow venetian alleyway

Here's another picture from my trip to Venice this summer. It shows one of the many typical narrow streets in Venice, away from the busy tourist routes. It was so narrow that it was difficult to avoid oncoming people. It leads directly to a small square, or inner courtyard, with a cosy restaurant, which I also photographed, of course, as it only opened in the evening. Maybe there will be a post about that too. I particularly like how this picture shows the view through the narrow alley to the light and the small staircase at the end of it. The muted colours of the façade, the plants and the yellow signpost as a contrast also give the picture a pleasant atmosphere.
